everything I have read about the KDW nt2's is that they are good in the rain...BFG's are Michilins :scratch:

The BFG's are FAST in the dry and slick in the wet. The new Yoko Nuevo's are SICK FAST in the dry and really slick in the wet. The Goodyear F1's are pretty fast dry and good wet while being very consistent which doesn't matter unless you are overheating them. The PS2's are still the best I've found for being fast in the dry and good in the wet. They're probably a hair slower than the BFG's in the dry but much better wet.

While I run Hoosier slicks on the track now, I still use the PS2's for rain tires.

Well Discount tire just told me that UPS lost my other tire and that MICHELIN would be next day airing my KDW NT to me on monday...i'm so confused!

correction...they do have the two tires "in" the store, but the replacement for the busted beaded tire got lost. :-|

(this was all written as of Friday when I was still dealing with it...I figured it wasn't worth posting until I had my tires on my car and I was out the door.)

well I am not going to start a bashin thread, because I am still waiting on my tires to show up. They will not be shipped until monday so I will have the tires on tuesday evening. The moral of the story is I have been given the run around for over 2 weeks and after i was promised they would be there (always just one or two more days) the tires arrived a week late LAST monday. when they arrived one of the tires had a fucked up bead which i understand isn't discount's fault. I personally know that most companies would have fixed the problem by having the tires rushed shipped, but that wasn't the case. They were sent UPS ground on Tuesday and were promised that they would be there by Friday. Well I call today and believe it or not the tires were not there and they just didn't happen to make it in today. Well after i was promised and GUARANTEED that the tires would be there monday (just a day late due to it being on the truck just not dropped off today).

After talking to the manager (i was way pissed) I find out that the reason the tire wasn't there was because UPS lost it and it wouldn't be there on monday either. I was flat out lied to just to make me not lose it Friday over the phone (makes me 10x more pissed)

Now with all this said James did a great job of talking to me Friday and I have complete confidence that he will handle this all and he will take care of me tuesday when I go to get this all taken care of. That is the long and short of the story and I can't say enough good things about James so far.

Well today I went and got my tires installed and everything. I was led to believe on Friday that the price would be negotiable when I got down there so I was hoping that I would be taken care of. I ordered the tires on the 3rd (was supposed to take 1-2 days) and now it is the 22nd before I got the tires.

The service when I got there was not too shabby. Once they got my car on the fact it didnt take them 15-20 minutes to mount and balance the back tires and balance the front tires.

The big problem is when I went to pay the price wasn't nearly waht I thought was reasonable. When I ordered it was going to be 365 mounted, balanced, and out the door with tax and everything. When I went to pay I was told it was 342 which to me was a joke. i waited over 2.5 weeks for some tires and I was only given $20 for the bullshit hassle and time...not including the lies and being strung on. I was so in disbelief that I couldn't even say anything. I was quite pissed at this point and just bit my tongue and left cause I was going to get quite heated.

P.S. The manager didn't apoligize nor did the person that fucked up the order and lied to me so many times. The only thing said was by the manager that said "thanks for being patient" which was i guess the apoligy. So far I can say I will NEVER go back to that discount tire because I felt like they didn't do shit to make up for their mistakes and errors.

They will give the hookup. I buy tires from Zach ALL the time... When his slack ass is there..lmao..Seriously they can get me tires cheaper and faster than American Tire or Barons Tire..Both of which are tire wholesalers. Alot of times when you go to a shop that installs tires but dosent specialize in them that is where they get them.

Brandon checked with Ryan and he couldn't beat the price...that was the only reason I went with discount instead and I will be a TK man from now on...I got more respect at TK bringing in used rims and tires, then I got when buying tires from Discount.

Ryan at tk is great i have to go up there and get a new tire for my car. And they are super fast. I went to discount once to get new mud tires for the truck stood there for 30 min and no one would wait on me. so ill stick with tk

Price isnt everything. Customer service has ALOT to do with it. We are not the cheapest in town but we stay busy because we are happy to see ppl come in and want to help them. Hell call up sometime and listen to me answer the phone. Its a GREAT day A Furrin Auto.

To be honest I got that from calling Tire Kingdom. I liked it and am using it... All the while typing this hoping there is not some copyrite on that..LMAOOOOO
