my clutch cable has a bunch of slack in it for some reason.
i adjusted the firewall adjuster to the maximum amount but that is not enough. i got the upr cable too. have you ever heard of anyone having problems with the lock nut at the end of the cable moving? ne way i need to get it fixed cuz i can't drive the car..it wont go into gear because when i mash the clutch it doesn't depress the pressure plate

which pick up on the quadrant do you have it on?

if you can, move it up to the next one...that'll take some more slack out.

Ya, what Matt said.

Or like you said, check the nut on the cable.

dunno otherwise :)

From what I've seen/read. Most use the middle hook.

i've got mine on the middle hook, and the adjuster is about halfway out. clutch engages with the pedal pretty close to the floor.

If you're using the upr one, you can't use anything BUT the middle hook.
