well, i hope to have the engine sitting in the truck by the end of the weekend. thats the goal. anyways, i have a few general questions.

1.) i'm gonna change the plugs while the engine is out. what do you guys reccomend? for those who don't know its an ls1.

2.) plug wires. why not? what brand(s) are good.

3.) oil. i'm thinking about putting in some royal purple since the engine has been sitting for a while. what do you guys think?

4.) can anybody tell me what size the fuel lines are from the tank to the engine on the ls1. also, how is it setup, 1 line to the engine and one return?

sorry for all the questions. i need to know about the fuel lines so i can buy the lines and bend them. thanks a lot guys.

werd on the 3 ryan answered...

cant tell you the size, but there is no return on the LS1...i think your truck has a return line, just plug it up in the tank as your harness should be setup to run returnless.

i have an aluminum fuel cell. i didn't think there was a return line.

There is a return on all LS1s, but its near the rear tire/tank not on the engine.
