Anyone know where I can get a hold of some 68 lb Police TBI injectors... maybe a fuel pressure regulator too, i can get that from turbocity.com, but its all not very cheap.
Also does anyone have a fuel pressure test kit, or can someone help me install a gauge in the line if i get the adjustable regulator so i can play with it at the track? I'm gonna clear all this with my chip man first, and see what he says, and I'll get the chip burnt as soon as possible.
I'm doin this just in case the new motor doesn't come, and I cant have it goin lean above 4000 anymore!

TBI man... i only have 2 = )
The stock ones are 55lbs and the TBI 9C1 350 Caprice (the police cars) had 68 lb injectors. 454's have 72lb injectors i think.
I dont think i can make enough fuel pressure to use the 68's tho. I'd need 16 or 17 psi and with the stock fuel pump the most i can only manage 15 with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
But to feed 175 cubic inches each those injectors have to be huge. The only benefit is that it is a little cheaper buying all new injectors, runs about $150 a pair. Check out www.cfm-tech.com to learn more about when GM got the great idea to stick fuel injectors on top of a 400cfm carb (ok, that is a BIT simplified, but that is about how gay it is). Ok, ok, i wont crack TOO much, it is better than carburetion and with a bigger TB i can make just as much power as a carb and it starts up easier, but "real" fuel injection (MPFI, TPI, SFI) is a WHOLE HELL OF A LOT BETTER!!

You should look around in some junk yards for old cop cars and see if you can cash in there.

GO around Frenchtown and see those old retired cop cars and steal the injectors out of one of them.
