Sorry this post is for BO, wouldn't fit in a PM, too long.
Bo,
Worked pretty much all day Sunday and if you look at the car it doesn't look like I got much done, even though I pretty much busted my ass all day, (12 hours).
1. Had to pull the cam and lifters again. Did some research and the opti dowel pin would have been too long. So I pulled it,cut it down about .2" and smoothed it out. Cam and lifters back in, also put the lifter "spider" cover and oil pump drive back in.
2.Gapped the plugs and made up the MSD wires and installed all of the plugs/wires without looms in the car. Also reamed out the looms so that the larger diameter MSD wires will fit. Really like the MSD wires, they come with a tool that works well made for a vice, also went out and bought a vice and mounted it temporarily on a couple of pieces of wood.
3. Finished painting intake manifold and valve covers. Got about four coats of clear on both.
4. The intake manifold is ready to go. All of the fittings are back on including the Throttle Body which I finished cleaning back up and put the the IAC valve and TPS back on.
The next big step is to get the intake on. I don't want to put that on unless your here to help. There are other areas I can work on until then but I would like to get that back on so that it can sit and the RTV cure.
Let me know.
Thanks again
Mark
