What it F is this?

Dear J Kinson Cook Jr,

Because it has expired, your credit card ending in 2605 has been removed from
your PayPal account.

If this was the only credit card on your PayPal account, you will need to add a
new card to continue sending instant PayPal payments. If you have a confirmed
bank account attached to your PayPal account, you will still be able to send
eCheck payments.

To add a new credit card:

1. Log in to your PayPal account
2. Go to the Profile subtab
3. Click on the 'Credit Cards' link in the Financial Information column
4. Click 'Add'
5. Enter your credit card information
6. Click 'Save'

Thank you for using PayPal!

could be spam. however, they must be getting more sophisticated because usually only the actual paypal emails will include your name. at least thats how it is with the spam emails i get.

Just log in to Paypal and look and see if it is still on there. But don't follow any links from the e-mail!!

They send those out when your card expires. If that card expired, you have to re-enter into Paypal. If that card didn't expire, or they just sent you a new one, you hav to update it on Paypal.

Only a few problems with this e-message, 1. I don't have a current card ending with 2605, I use paypal for payment (& currently still good trhu 2008) and my name on the ebay page is just Kinson Cook.

Just log into Paypal directly and not from any links. Check your account, if all is good then don't worry about it and delete the e-mail.
