The first type of X2C control arms. The company that was making them decided to start having them made in China to save costs, without telling Mark or anyone else at X2C. The bushings aren't the Delron material they're supposed to be and are some kind of cheap crap that obviously doesn't hold up well at all. I talked to Mark today about his new control arms and he's hooking me up with a set of boxed arms pretty good. He even offered to pay for me to send my old arms to him so he could put new bushings in them in case I wanted to sell them.
The new arms are made in house with Energy Suspension bushings. They should be coming back from the powdercoaters today and he's sending me a set of ST's with no spring perches if they get in before 4 his time. If not they'll be on the way tomorrow. I can't wait to get rid of that bastardly clunk.

No, I got that fixed the second time, they used longer bolts and nuts instead of trying to get the stock bolts to stay in. The tranny has been solid for a good six months.

There is currently a law suit against the company for outsourcing to China without even asking X2C. The guys there have been nothing but helpful everytime I've called, explained everyhting that was going on and how they were fixing it.

X2C's customer support is top notch, their products could use a little work at times.

I don't know if he'll go so far as swapping them out. But the new ones will go up in price a lot after a while since they're really only priced so low to help the people who bought the first ones, other people are just lucky to take advantage of it. They'll probably be priced closer to ones from other companies.
