Yeah so I'm going chevy so sue me...Anyway so I have been thinking of this for a while and I'm getting closer to the purchase. There are two that I am looking at right now on ebay. 1st one is Item number: 290044545126.....Pros: it looks professionally done/sense of purpose and style, it also has a lot of modifications already on it. Cons: I think it is a little over priced for what they have done. Item number: 330044446237

You're looking at buying a $65,000 riced out Vette?? Ummm...if you have that kind of money to drop, go buy a new C6.

I hate the new c-6 with a passion. I have always liked the c-5's and c-4's. Yeah its got a little too much chrome for me so I would get rid of most of it (sell it). Technically its a wedding present from my dad, but I get to pick which one. I like the second one better than the first however. The first one was already modified so I don't have to go through the pain in the ass of having no space to work with. I would rather have the second but I f'ing hate the tan top. If anyone else happens to come accross a Z-06 in yellow, red, or white pm me.

I've got a very nice C5 FRC with about 10k in performance mods and low miles, (right at 30K). I'll save you some money and let you have it for 30K.

If you have the money to even consider buying a $65k vette why are you running those cheap shitty tires on your new rims?

Chris, the last one has been for sale forever. Something must be wrong with it although I never cared enough to look too far into it.

Both of the Vettes on Ebay are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYyYYYYY overpriced and the first one makes me want to dig my eyes out with a pair of rusty spoons. If youre looking for a well taken care of Vette that looks and runs great, buy Mark's(93zm6tally). You wont be disappointed with it.

Both of the Vettes that he's looking at on ebay are just regular ole C5's.

The engine bay on that first one sure is purty. Not worth $65k in my book though. The second one looks real clean and well taken care of. Are you looking for a drop top or a coupe or don't you care?

And they are way nicer on the inside. Way nicer all around in fact.

But between a C5 Z06 and a regular C6, I'd go for the Z06.

P.S. - Shifter and CAI are not considered "a lot of modifications already on it" as for the chrome and other HIDEOUS fucking attire on that car, just plane stupid.

In reference to the first EBay ID number

Its a wedding present FROM his dad. I know you say you hate the c6, but it would definetly be my choice. If it had to be a c5 i would rather a low mileage, completely stock car.

I just really don't like the first yellow you posted, but if you like it go for it. However there are some already modded vettes out there.

I never knew it had the same motor. Being the same motor, I'm assuming all/most from the z06 will fit correct? One of my friends has a black one but its not the V, I guess thats why I never thought about it. I'll hit you up when I get some free time between the houses or I'll be at the meet thursday night.

Oh and thanks everyone for looking and for the info.
