Heres an 8.20 pass. This is what it looks and sounds like when you do a 1-2-3-2 in a fast car.

Heres his new best. 7.70 @ 191, trapping as high as 195 on other passes.

Heres his second 1-2-3-2 pass. This one popped the motor.

"Thanks for all the support and compliments guys.

We did not have a headgasket issue, I screwed up and shifted from 3-2 twice and it destroyed the valve train and the aem lost sync which backfired the engine and blew a hole in the head. To friggen bad. We had a spot open to test the car on Monday and see how far we could take it.

The engine does not appear to be laying over even at 11k so i think 200 mph would be possibl with this gearing. I am going to try a taller final drives to see if it helps or hurts just so I know though.

Oh and my car is no way "street legal" Fun to drive on the street ? HELL YES

The 7.70 pass I concentrated on not bogging it so I did not have a good reaction time. He had me .2 out of the hole he ran a 7.86 @ 184 to my 7.701 @ 191. I wish I would have the left boost controller alone and left it like it was on the 195 mph pass.

I finally have the launch figured out and had a .090 and a .070 reaction time in the eliminations.. now if I can remember this spring.

I really screwed up the last 2 runs. The track was getting very loose in the middle and I must have been trying to get my hands back on the wheel quick and shifted 3-2 2 friggen times in a row. It went well over 13K and hurt the motor. I did have a best of 1.21 60 and a 3.36 330 in the first round of elim. tobad I threw it away.

BTW there were no finals. The track temp went down to 39 degrees and they did not let the pro street class run again for safety reasons.

Good vids. I love the sign on the dash reminding him to push the clutch in with the Chute.

Its about time to see Shep make a mistake. He is still manually shifting a car that runs 7's, that takes some skill. I hope he will be up and running quickly, he is considered almost a god in the DSM community. I do believe he still holds the record for the worlds fastest 4 cylinder AWD.
