what do you have done to your truck...... i would love for my expedition to be able to do that....... it wouldn't do a burnout with the 4.10's in it on the superchips performance tune.......

What cams do you have and who degreed them for you? The headers sound good. Were they a pain to put on?

Stock Cams, the headers weren't to awful bad. They arent easy by no means... i had the manifolds off, by myself in a lil under 2 hours, and the headers tookk about 3 hours to install....with 1 helper. and doing it on jack stands.

Sounds good.
You have no idea about difficult headers until you do a 4.6 32V Cobra. No lift. By yourself. And live to warn others to save themselves.

Cam in a can...... im scared to ask???
also..im assuming it idled that way due to there only being 4-5 bolts in each header....leaking badly...couldnt hear the leaks till the exhaust was back on.
I have to take it to the shop and get them to install the remaining bolts.

if you have all of your EGR stuff installed and working correctly i can make it cam like a big dog...... when i get home this weekend i'll take pics of what to do and where to do it and pm it to ya...... no performance gains just the OMG how fuckin' big is that cam reaction though....

ok here is the quick explination..... if you put a restriction (not really a restriction but something that'll flap persay or seal, unseal, seal, unseal etc. with vacume.... a piece of paper) in the little canister that on a stock 5.0 is located on the passenger side firewall that has a snap on plastic cap and 2 vacume lines (red and green IIRC hard plastic) coming out of the botom, on a 4.6 truck it is on the drivers side halfway under the plastic cover that says 4.6l Triton, if you take the cap off this you'll see a small vacume port and the cap will have a small piece of foam. take the small piece of paper, not notebook paper or news paper...it has to have some rigidity.... something like a nice envelope or resume paper and place the small piece (size of a nickle) over the port and place the cap back on and the foam will hold the paper in place with pressure...... then crank vehicle and enjoy..... the theory behind this is that that particular canister regulates EGR flow from what i understand..... this will throw a check engine light telling you you have excessive egr flow...... sometimes it'll idle REAL LOW and real choppy sometimes it'll idle a little lower than stock and still be choppy you can play around with paper thickness and size to get it where you like it ..... if it is too stiff and seals the port too well it'll cut the vehicle off....you can see this happen if you have the motor running and remove the cap on said canister and cover the hole with your finger....... i have experienced some slight issues recranking the truck like when i stop for gas or food.... but with your foot slightly on the gas it will crank right up...... fuel mileage is prolly affected......once you break idle there is no cam sound as it drives like normal once you break an idle........ but i don't recomend doing this all the time....... i just do it sometimes to mess with the ricers in town..... they always want to know what all has been done to it...... and i love telling them it is stock..... just like my diesel...:secret:
