I'm starting tonight and if all goes according to plan, which it probably won't, I'll be finishing up sometime tomorrow or Sunday morning to take to Todd to get the welding done. If anyone wants to get their hands dirty, feel free to come on by.

We are doing it at our place. At the moment, we are about to undo the motor mounts and drop the K. We will be out at the lot but probably right back over here shortly after.

5 hours of work and the longtubes are on, just have two bolts left to fight with on the passenger side then its on to the next part of the job. I'll be starting early tomorrow, by 9:30 at the latest. Anyone wants to see me curse and throw tols, call my cell and I'll tell you how to get here.
Are you putting the K on now too?

Yep. Tomorrow is K, coilovers and X.
Good job guys, pretty impressive so far. I hope things go just as well tomorrow.

Thanks, must have been that bid of good luck you gave as we walked out the door. We decided not to listen to the "you're gonna need it" part you added. After these two bolts, I'm thinking everything should be pretty straight forward, as long as we can get those spindles off the balljoints.

Good job guys. If you get it done quickly today, you could always take the x to some place like midas, and as long as it isn't on the car, they probably won't charge you much to weld it up. I will still do it tomorrow if needed. Good luck. I am anxious to hear that badboy.
There is no more midas in Tallahassee last I heard.

it didn't look like it was the other day. i rode by it and all the grass up front was about 2 feet deep. they charged me like 15-20 to weld a muffler on my truck last year. they did good work though.

The one on Monroe is not Midas anymore, they changed it to some automotive center.

This puzzle of an Xpipe is going to be the end of me. I've got some posts up on stangnet and corral to see if I can get some measurements of all the pieces to find out where to cut. I may be running open headers for a while.

<--- Greg on Bo's computer again.
MAYMEADOW LANE CUSTOMS STRIKES AGAIN!!!!!
After not wanting to deal with the Dr. Gas X this weekend with the car only on stands, I decided to use the Prochamber. I hacked it down to size and it slipped into the Dr. Gas front pieces that I had flared to fit the 3" collectors. It ain't perfect and it is gonna hang lopsided, but it fucking fits. Now I just need to wait for an extra set of hands to come over and hold the thing in place right and tighten everything up.

Everything is on and it sounds like ass. Big leak at the collector.

That sucks balls.
Greg Kulbick

Its only leaking because the Prochamber doesn't exactly line up with the headers, so the flange doesn't really line up now either.

call Maymeadow Lane Customs...."If it doesnt fit.......oh wait, nevermind

Hey, it was nowhere close to fitting and I got it on. It ain't pretty, but it hasn't fallen off yet.

Cobra Killer finally got tired of me asking him for tips with the Dr. Gas X. He told me to send it to him and he'll cut and weld it for me. I'm going to order another pair of the Hedman collector adapters and three bolt flanges and send them with it so it'll bolt right up when he's done. He's done a ton of em and has cars there with BBK longtubes anf Flowmasters so he can put it together on that car to make sure it fits right since the Hedmans were made to fit BBK midpipes. Oh yeah, a guy on Stangnet switch to Dr. Gas with his Flows from an H and gained 30 peak rwtq and comporable gains throughout the powerband. This was a blown car so I know I won't get near 30, but hopefully it will help.

Don't complain Bo, you would have had to help put them in. Getting rid of those and having Tim do the midpipe is saving you an anuerism. You're welcome.

Nah, I get plenty of use outta that garage. Eventually I will get everything moved in and stuff but I just sleep at Jens all the time so I drop by after school/work and pick up anything I might need and go from there.
