Nope.. Don't like it. Keep em 2 doors. Make another sweet sedan/stationwagon w/a V8, don't ruin the mustang.

About as bright of an idea as the Probe was.

It will probably happen.

It WILL tank. (and yes, it will BE a tank.)

Worse than if they actually make it a four-door will be the fact that the two-door version will be based off of a family sedan platform. Not that the current or previous Stang's had the best platform, but this will be an all new low for Ford.

no fucking way. NO WAY.

See, ford is working way too hard at this. What they need to do is take the lazy-ass approach GM takes when introducing australian cars stateside, like with the GTO. Slap a few badges on it, add 10 extra catalytic converters to make it emissions legal, and call it something thats been extinct for 30 or so years. Hell, call it a freakin Fairmont, or a Granada or some shit. Have it compete with the GTO, or the magnum... but for crying out loud, dont call it a mustang.

Here's another problem. Im not sure what its like down under, but nobody really wants station wagons anymore. They got knocked out of the ring by Mrs. Martha Soccer-Mom's Minivan. And since then, minivans are old news!

id rather drive a country squire wagon, granada, fairmont, or even the griswold family station wagon before I embarassed myself in a transexual vehicle such as a mustang.. hold on a second, ive got to control my laughter.. haha... station wagon!!

I agree don't bring down an American icon by making it into A wagon. Boost your sales some other way. If it is a good product it will sell no matter what they call it. How would we ever be able to say that we drive a muscle car/pony car/sports car if they uses it name on a station wagon.:bs:
