LS6 Intake

I was looking at a few intakes and found a new LS6 intake for $365 shipped. Is this a pretty good deal?

the one on ebay doesnt have a map sensor on it, problem . . .


the 365 shipped aint a bad deal, however remember you will need 2 coolant plugs and one coolant pipe as well. Fred Beans has the entire kit for 410 shipped anywhere in the US. they dropped the price 20 bucks two weeks after i ordered it, those bastards.

you wont gain much with a cam or heads, but the with the spray im betting 10-14 hp.

another thing to think about is when the FAST intake comes out, there will be an assload of used ls6's for sale, but that wont be until december

i saw a few on ebay. If those FAST intakes are coming out soon i'll probably just wait till this winter to look for an ls6 intake.

Didnt see that intake was messed up:oops: The LSX intake will really only see gains with big strokers, not worth it on a stock cube motor imo.

I saw screw it and get the edelbrock intake. A high polished alum. intake that flows better then the LS6. Dont know what the price is on it, but if your going to upgrade it, might as well
