its just sitting in there right now. i have some clearance issues i have to take care of. had to try to get it in 3 different times. first time we tried to put it in with the manifold on. didn't work. driver's side wouldn't clear the steering shaft. then the starter had to come off. i'm still having a little problem with the top part of the engine hitting the ac box but i have the problem fixed. i was going to weld in the motor mounts but i want to make sure everything is taken care of clearance wise first. there isn't an oil pan on it right now either. i have to get one cut down to fit it. my wiring harness should be done in a couple of weeks. hopefully i'll have the pan by then. i still have to get a corvette alternator and power steering pump. i have the stock fbody ones up for sale if anyone is interested. i still have to make new fuel lines and mount the fuel cell and pump. there's still a hell of a lot of work to do.

Shall we hold a cermony when the truck is done to peel it off and urinate on it in the parking lot of schlotsky's on a Thursday night?

Shouldve removed most of those wires from the engine bay before the swap imo. Youre geting a new harness anyway.

they're all coming out. we just sat the engine in there to gauge clearance and to check to see how well the motor mounts would fit. when the engine comes back out everything will be taken out.

Nice truck. One question......with the air ride suspension can you make the car bounce?

if i wanted to set it up to hop i could. i don't have it set up that way. i could put some 1" lines and valves in there and crank up the psi on the pressure switch. right now i have 3/8th line and 3/8th valves. its actually a rather slow system because when i bagged it i had planned on doing a body drop in the future. i didn't want to have the body slamming on the ground. i'm gonna upgrade somewhat but it really isn't a priority right now.

you gonna tap into that harness for guages or is the harness your gettin, a FULL harness w/guage hookups?

the harness i'm getting is supposed to have all the gauge hookups to work with my stock gauges.

That is a badass looking truck, at least it was before you started working on it, j/k. That thing should scream once you get it on the road. What kind of rear end you got in that thing to handle the increased torque?

its the stock rearend for now. all i did was change the gears from 4:10 to 3:42 and add a limited slip. i know i'll blow it but it'll hold up for right now. the s10 rear is the same as the fbody rear, only shorter.
and i know i'll need some new tires. i need some wider rims out back. i have 245/45/17 on the back right now. i'll probably get some 275/40/17 when i get some money.
