Is there a shop in town that could fix my broken header bolt. Me and my Dad found out it was broken when I put headers on my car. I didn't break it. I need to find a place that could fix it for cheap. I just got my car out of Fountain's for a trashed tie rod end. They said they could fix it for around 280. Estimated 3 hours of labor with gasket and bolt. Any place that will do a good job for cheaper?

Go but a Tap set and make a new bigger hole its more involved than that don't feel like typing it all out. But basically you should fix it yourself dont know many shops that do that kind of work.

Is it on that 2.8? If so, Im not familiar with how everything sits under the hood with the 2.8 but you should be able to get a bolt extractor on there and back it out. Its an easy process if theres room which Im assuming there is. I could be wrong though. It happens pretty much all the time.

Yeah it's on the 2.8. Well to get ir out I need a new drill. It's called like a 90 degree drill or angled drill or something. Most of the work is in taking the header off. The AC compressor and power steering pump are bloted to it.

Yea, a 90 degree drill will do the trick. Sucks its so much work to get back to it tho...

At least it's the first cylinder and not the 5 or 6 way in the back.
