Memphis or Tampa?

I use to live in Memphis in the summers growing up, and I loved it, but I've always wanted to live further south. That sure is a tough one.

i'd probably say tampa. i hate cold weather. its beautiful in tennessee but i wouldn't be able to drive my truck in the winter at all.

I lived in tampa for 4 years before I came back to tally. It was fun, good bit of stuff to do, no winters etc... Memphis might be cool though

Being that I am from Tennessee, I vote for Tampa. I dont have anything against Tenn, I just hate cold weather.

Tennessee. At least if you want to go somewhere, you have a choice of North, South, East and West. Not just North. Seasons are a nice change to hot and hoter.

There are some great places to live in Hillsborough County. Stay away from the City of Tampa itself though when looking for a place to live. South Tampa is nice, and Pinellas County is nice too and is right across the bridge, although there are more retirees there.
