any interesting motor swaps you seen/heard of??..been thinkin about the wrangler with the viper v-10 and sittin here reeadin about some other swaps, and rx-7 lt1 swaps and fiero lt1s. anybody ever seen any interesting motor swaps???

a 455 GTO motor in a fiero.. (you had to take the whole motor out to change the plugs.)

a 503CI caddy motor into a chevette.

a Grand National turbo V6 into a Notchback mustang. (ran 9's)

I saw a lS1 two-door RWD olds allero once. that jugger was MEAN!

these ones top the list by far:

a 6.8L modular V10 w/ a kenne-bell into a sn-95 mustang

A focus with a T-76 turbo (oh yea, it had a 408 stroker, too)

03 cobra drivetrain (including 6 speed/IRS) into the focus.

a 5.0 4V and a T-56 into a lincoln LS.

528ci ($13,000) Hemi Crate motor, in a NBS Ram...610 hp and 650 lb-ft on 10.25:1 comp.

That was in Sport Truck a LONG time ago... roasted the HELL out of some Yokohama AVS S/T's!!

$25,000 for that motor in a Dakota with a 6 speed Viper tranny and driveline. THAT would be mean!! The Hotrod Magazine hotwheels Quadcab Dakota had one.
