I have a 4.6 question. I am thinking after my warranty is up on the truck putting in a new engine. Would there be any advantage to installing a 4.6 2v from a Mustang, since the truck is a 4.6 now. It is rated at 246hp . Are the cams diffrent and would it work ok with the truck intake? I am actually planning on installing 2 small turbos on it waaayyyyy down the road. I am not looking to make huge numbers I would be happy with 400 at the crank. Will a stock motor handle that?

Stock motor will handle 400 at the crank. The truck intake will probably not flow well enough to turn any serious rpm, but you may reach you power goals with a power adder. I am not sure on the cams, but I think they are the same between the gt and truck engines. The gt cams may have a bit more duration. I believe the intakes and tune to be the biggest difference.
