Tville is WAY to busy for them to stop and inspect everyone who drives by.

My questions is, will they be checking for cats?

so how are they going to check breaks on cars?
any ways an improper equipment violation is like 76 bucks or something, and you dont get any points, so im not really going to sweat it, if they really want to be dickheads about checking to see if i have mufflers or what percent my tints are, saftey inspections just sound a little ridiculous

ok, that was juts what i thought it was if i remember correctly from back in miami.... my point was a ticket for improper equipment isnt nearly as bad as a $350 speeding ticket

Well lets see I have no cats, my exhaust dumps before the rear axle, I have a huge leak and it sounds like open headers right now:D , I have 20% tint....list keeps going on

well if they are really doing just saftey inspections, they are probably only checking your break lights, seatbelts, horn, and like.... i doubt they will be getting all technical with mods

florida does not have inseption, so unless they pull me over for a legal reason, aka speeding or something, they can kiss my ass... I will have to look up the law and see if they can pull you over for that, not all violations can you be stopped for... I really hate cops... alot...

thats what I thought...
under 316.610 Safety of vehicle; inspection.--
"(1) Any police officer may at any time, upon reasonable cause to believe that a vehicle is unsafe or not equipped as required by law, or that its equipment is not in proper adjustment or repair, require the driver of the vehicle to stop and submit the vehicle to an inspection and such test with reference thereto as may be appropriate. "

meaning "upon reasonable cause to believe that a vehicle is unsafe or not equipped" they need a reason, they cant just pull me over to check... bastards...

I want to know how they are certified to inspect the mechanical condition of your car. I understand tires because that is ease there are wear bars on them. But unless your BRAKES are metal to metal then are they unsafe? (rhetorical question) What about these cars with wore out steering and suspension components? CV axles about to fall out, transmissions that slip so bad that they cant pull a hill? Those are more of a danger than the dump before rear axle, the 20% tint or the tires @ 3/32 of tread.
