I was told that the new Super Suds on W. Tenn. is a good car wash. I took my truck thru it Sunday. On Monday afternoon I found SEVERAL chips in the paint on the hood. I know for a fact they were not there the week previous. I handwashed the truck the weekend before and they were not there. I know the chips are new for 2 reasons. 1 I just had ALL the scratches, chips and bad spots fixed in the red paint to the tune of $2k. Second one chip is thru to the metal and there is no surface rust yet.
I talked to the Owner/general Mgr/HMFIC. He said that their wash could not cause that and refused to do anything about it. It will cost me about 300.00 to get it fixed. That amount is not worth going to court over and I am sure this fool knows it. I just want to stop at least 300.00 worth of business from going there. I would lose more than that in my time taking care of it. Then this dude had the audasity to offer me some free washes for my time. Like I want to go thru his shitty wash again. Fuck Them. sorry for the rant I am just so fucking livid. He said if had ripped a mirror off or ripped the antenna out they would do something. FUCKER. I hope his sorry ass is on the board or someone here knows him and tells him about this. I know I am not going to make or break his company but I am going to do all that I can to stop ppl from going there.:hissy: :hissy: :hissy:

Thanks for the warning. I guess I'll stick to doing car washes at home or going to the coin-op places.

I used to work at Super Suds, and the only way the machine can do that is if there is something caught in the fabric. However through out the whole process its entirely possible for other things to do it. Vacuum hoses flying everywhere, pre-wash brushes, etc...

I quit that place because they would clock us all out before we were done and we would end up working for about 10-15 more minutes without being paid, wouldn't be a big deal if they didn't do it like every fucking time.

Its like I said in the beginning, I JUST had the front of the hood painted, I hand washed it the weekend before and they were not there, 1 chip is thru to the metal and there was no surface rust. I found them the Next day after washing my truck. So Super Lube, Super Suds and Super Service Centers can all kiss my big fat ass.

I went through there 5 weeks ago and the car wash broke a reflector on my rear bumper. The manager said he would call the dealership and buy me a new one. I got his card and he got my information. Haven't heard a word from that dude again. ASS

I've known Richard since the '70's and he has always been a great guy. He was called Uncle Richard when we were growing up as my father and him started the original construction company together.

I'll 2nd that. I am sure if you have a legitamate case they will understand and take care of the damage. That is what their insurance is for. Again, I would be more than happy to help you out with this just PM me all the info about what happened and who you talked with and a number I can have them call you back at.

I talked to a young dude that drives a Ford F150 he was introduced to me as the owner. He didn't want to do anything so FUCK THEM. If I can take business from them I will at EVERY opportunity, I don't know alot of high up people, and I alone cannot hurt them where they will know it, but I will feel vindicated with every person who I tell my story to and they refuse to go there. I will pay, and its what I should have done, someone on here to wash my vehicle if I am going to be to lazy to do it myself.

Well, I know Richard is in his 60's and Chad is probably in his late 20's. Those are the owners of the Super Suds in town and also the one in Valdosta. I go to their place about once a week with the SUV and will continue to go.
