Next Sunday, the 12th, is the annual F-body shootout at Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds Ga. I have gone for 3 or 4 years now and there are always a ton of badass cars up there. Most come from the Atlanta area but people come from all over really. Anyone can run so it doesnt matter what you drive. Last year a guy I know ran his stock Honduh in the 16's all day.

I know that I am going but if I dont get my cam and transmission in, Im not going to run my car. Ill just watch. I think we should get a good sized group together and cruise up that way but it is a good drive.

wow, I went in 98 and 99 with Adam Bruce (ls1 guy). And there was no where near that many there. In 99 my 11.3 in my 88 beat 98% of the f-bodys there :) And Brad Brands mustaing with a 9.0x covered the rest (cept for a prostock car there testing).

If Oct 11-12 wasn't the Orlando World Street Nationals. I would go, but I want to see 128+ cars going 9 seconds or faster. 32 of them on Drag Radials!

I also heard that Carlton will be running his car there with a bigger turbo. I guess he does want to see the under side of his car.

Okay, so I was exagerrating, but whatever it takes to get some mustang guys to mess around with ;)

We're expecting ~100 f-cars. 65 from north GA, about 35 from south. Plus around 10-20 vettes.

My buddy Jonny from Atlanta is bringing one down. I probably wont run many times so I can tape with his camera a lil if you want. He can burn the footage on a cd and mail it down here no problem.

There wasnt any good footage. The guy that was taping it was a tool and only got like 5 runs, none of which had any of us in them. He only wanted the "big" cars. :roll:
