woot!off started tonight http://www.woot.com
my tranny is out of a 99 GT, with custom linkage to make it fit my crown vic. I'm pretty sure I can know what it will take to put a floor shift in, but any ideas on what to do to the column (short of replacing it)?
and in the mean time I really need Tony to work his magic on her too... the car you perverts!

Fiberglass will probably look the best. Just paint it the same color as your interior when you are done. I have heard of someone do that to a crown vic before and thats what he did. good luck

Are you putting a 5 spd in it or an auto?

I would love to swap in a t-56 like this.

It'll still be an auto, the transmission was built nice. I figure I'll just have to switch the custom linkage back to the original GT linkage and get the console out of a taurus/sable/lxsport/marauder, cut a hole in the tunnel and go. That and y'all have never seen anybody screw up fiberglass worse than me. The column is what really has me worried at this point. Replacing the column is an option, but that's time and money I'd rather devote elsewhere.
