Well I got my 99 Camaro sold yesterday at lunch. A girl and her fiance drove down from Marietta and picked the car up. I definitely think she got an awesome car and she is going to enjoy it. It was the first time I ever saw my car drive off and it was the first time I ever heard my car...it seriously made me think twice about selling it.
Now I have a 2002 Quad Cab Dodge 1500 2wd. It has the 5.9L gas burner in it, factory 20's, woodgrain, leather with suede inserts seats. It is a dark grey sport with dark dark interior. I love the truck so far and will have pics of it up before too long. I just got tired of having a lowered car and not having as much space. There will be a few minor mods done to this truck and then I plan to just drive the hell out of it. I will have pics this weekend as well...
Mods will be:
Tint
Exhaust
Level kit (lift front 3")

don't forget to address the crappy balljoints in the front end.... some were recalled some were not.... the geometry in the design is WAY THE FUCK off as i've been through 4 sets of upper and lower balljoints in my truck in a couple of years..... some not lasting 5 months.....

Willis? did someone forget to eat their Weaties this morning..... i know the balljoints are different from a DRW to a SRW but i do rember there being a recall just saying you might want to check...... and for the record Dodge has never been good in the frontend department..... 98% of all dodges (neons, caravans, trucks) that come into Thomasville Tire for a tire is because of something in the frontend being all out of wack cause it's crap from the factory..... mine's crap cause it's 11 years old and has a 2K pound motor hanging over top of it..... also dodge has crap for a transmission.... the gasburners are the longer lasting of the 2 as the diesel tranny's will go out if you put in a K&N filter and give the truck the added .5HP.... the gassers i've seen live for over 200K especially if it's serviced with full senthetic ATF+4 regularly....... my tranny didn't last 160K..... but it was beat on perty good for 80K of that time..... i guess 625ft/lbs will do that....
EDIT OBS and NBS????? i have no clue nor do i feel like Google searching it.....

this one is the one from Dodge..... check it out and make sure you don't have any outstanding that need to be done..... my 96 did when i got it and i bought it from a Dodge dealer that was suspose to check it all.....

I appreciate it man
OBS - Old body style (yours)
NBS - Newer body style
The truck has some decent miles on it, but I am going to do a tune up, change all the fluids, and have the front end looked thru. I appreciate all the help Benjamin

badass man. I am going to take it to ron sometime next week and let him look it all over. I am sure it needs plugs and wires, but not sure what else.

Cool Beans.... Ron will Git-R-Done..... he'll make you replace them with Moog parts i'm 99% sure..... put it this way.... i installed the advance autoparts TRW's and they lasted almost 2 years, BUT when i went to get them warrantied out they had purged all my warranty info out of their system cause " i'm not a frequent customer" or atleast that's what that short baldheaded asshat fucktard Ray @ the Thomasville store told me..... then when i wanted my money back so i could buy the Moog's he told me " we don't buy used parts..... how could you have bought them from us since we don't stock them....." that's when i think a balljoint or 2 went somewhere and a reciept came out of my wallet and he had to eat every word he just spouted off to me infront of a store full of customers..... half of them put down what they had and went somewhere else..... [/rant]
fast forward to Moog parts that were installed this time last year on my truck.... i kept having a "clunk" in the suspension on the driver side... i replaced the old crappy TRW's with Moogs (3 times the money @ O'Rileys) and the clunk was still there..... drove it for ~6 months and then replaced every bushing in the front end back in November and i noticed the upper balljoints were shot.... took them back to O'Rileys swapped them out and all has been good lately.... but the clunk came back..... makes me wander.......
Moral of the story..... all parts are crap... stock or aftermarket.... big name brand of no name brand..... they are all designed to fail so they can get repete business.....

it would if he got the better of the 5.9's..... Cummins Power..... 17-18 MPG...... not too shabby for a 7K pound truck.....
