Timing could get a little more of a bump. B1 looks good (almost a little lean) but B2 is way rich. The target range is between .880 - .910

Looks like that B2 sensor is screwed or on its way out. Does Chris have another spare O2?

Thanks dick. I just had a stroke trying even decipher what one line of that garbage means. Once I got past the RPMs, I burst a blood vessel in my head.

called norris and hes not sure exactly whats going on with the car

hes also trying to charge me a bit more than i would like to pay for a retune after giving him 500 bucks for 3 hp for the initial tune

what a pain in the ass

ive read on tech, Norris has had some problems with tuning, dont know where else you can go though.

the thing this guy tim, who used to work there, tuned my car before and said retunes would be 100 bucks. fine no problem

well tim isnt there anymore, and he took all the edit files with him. so mike has edit, doesnt really know how to use it too well, and because he basically has to do a full tune on the car again since tim has the file, he wants to charge me like 250-350 bucks

and he didnt sound to confident about it on the phone either

do you know of anyone is s-fla or ga that can do

the only option im looking at right now is dynoing at SGC with wideband and atap, and sending the dyno and atap file to the guys at texas speed with my pcm, and having them put a tune in the pcm

i would much rather get an inhouse dyno tune, but the problem is i WONT pay that much to get the car tuned AGAIN

Here are the cruise charts. Everything checks out fine, Ltrims look real good... you want them slightly negative. Hopefully the O2 change will help the problem. Did the codes come back from last night?

I hear you on the dyno tune costs. Im gonna get Edit soon, so if ya read up on that shit, you can have at it. 8) There is a place called fasterporms.com in tampa you might want to look at. Some peeps on tech use him.

Ryan,

Have you talked with the guy at SGC. I know he does chips for Corvettes, wouldn't the tuning be basically the same? I talked to him about burning a chip for me - he does that for the LT1 vettes and he said that the binaries might be the same.

You have a problem in the o2 circuit or sensor. Check to make sure the wire is not toucing you exhaust or pinched somewhere. you should not be seeing a reading of 1 volt or higher. Timing looks low to me also. Knock sensor problem?

Tally TransAm

man this is getting fucking stupid

called norris, mike said about 250 for the tuning and everything but he didnt sound too confident that he knew exactly what the problem was or if/how to fix

called fasterproms, he wanted 350 minimum to look at it, plus dyno time, plus this fee that fee, said it would be like 500 bucks and he is sure he could fix it

called thunder, they said take the car to norris

called texas speed and talked to jason for like 45 minutes, he said hes never heard of anything like that before, told me to do some research and he would do some and call him in a couple days to see if we found anything out. said he could do a couple thing. i could dyno the car with wideband and atap it and send him everything and he could tune it based off that. could reflash the computer to stock and start over, could just plug in another program from a car with similar mods, but none would assure it would run perfect and solve the problem. plus i might have to send him my pcm more than one time to get it correct

im called aaron but there was no answer and his mailbox was full

any other ideas

im changing that o2 sensor tonight and hopefully thatll take care of that

timing is fine though, ls1's have lower timing

neither of those would account for the problem im having though, its gotta be a tuning issue, but noone seems to know exactly what

Did you clear the codes from last night? Did they come back? Man i cant see spending another 5 bills to tune it again, hopefully the O2 swap will solve the warmup problem and bring down the B2 O2 at WOT.

codes it threw last night havent come back, been about 20 miles

noone know wtf is happening. everyone i call is, huh, well thats a new one. im oh, fucking dandy

norris looks like its gonna be the best option only because i can pay more than that.

i really hope swapping the o2 fixes this

if you get the new o2 and the ltrims are still fine, and the wot B2 O2 goes down to around 880-910(which is what i think will happen) and it quits stumbling, I would say that you wouldn't even need a tune. The B2 O2 going out so soon after the B1 may just be a coincidence, and may have been on it's way out for a while, partly being the cause for the stumbling. Just let me know when you want to atap it again.

copied from ls1truck.com....if you're lookin for something to moniter other than atap.

Hey guys we have a group purchase going on with a WBO2 and thought I'd share it with ya'll all questions need to be directed to Onelfastlride@aol.com

I would like to organize a Group Purchase for an affordably priced, fully digital, Wideband A/F Ratio Meter. As I understand it this kit comes fully assembled with everything you need, including a Bosch 5-wire sensor (but works with others). Some of the key features of this meter are precise AFR measurement, real time data display, and data logging for up to 44 minutes for later analysis on a PC. Also up to five additional inputs can be logged (RPM, MAF, MAP, TPI, etc.). Eventually boost will be one of them too. This means you'd have the ability to say measure AF, Boost, and RPM. Then I think you can later graph verse one another.

Let me know if you would be interested, I can direct you to more information, and formally organize a Group Buy.
Group Buy of (5) = $334.00 + free shipping
Group Buy of (10) =$324.00 + free shipping
