Hey, if he wants me to drive THIS one at the track for him too, I'm down .
Seriously... I'd love to rip on a Z down the 1/4.

I can't get down on him for that... The only money of my own, that I earned, that I put into ANYTHING was half of my truck and my truck's headers... I haven't paid a dime on the new motor and 2 transmissions on my truck, or my car at all... but I appreciate it and try to take care of it (the many trannies on my truck were mostly the last dude that built it's fault, and my car is covered by GM so until I hit 36,000 miles I can beat the fuck out of it with no remorse). But you can't tell me that if your parents came to you and said, "Here's a brand new car!" that you wouldn't take it... now whether or not he appreciates it and takes care of it is one thing, but to talk down on him simply because his parents have money and are generous is kinda shitty.

I don't fault someone for taking what their parents will give them. I agree if my parents said here is a brand new GTO I wouldn't turn it down. I see the other side though. My parents made me buy my own car(s). I still beat the fuck out of them and had to pay for all my own parts and fix them myself.

Good god, the last thing this world needs is that kid running around in a z06. My parents bought me my 06 GT but I had to buy my first few cars on my own. I think it makes you appreciate it a hell of a lot more like slonlow said. That pisses me off about the blonde though, lucky assclown

Thats what I was getting at to begin with. He was always cool to me, he just didn't drive with any respect to himself to anybody else. I'm not dogging him because mom and dad bought him a car. I'm just saying that he had a hard enough time respecting the GTO, let alone a Z06.
