Problem, help

ok i was driving my car a little fast and i let off and something happened. sounds like a header gasket or something. like if u were to remove a spark plug and run the engine, thats what it sounds like. not leaking any fluids but is smoking from the engine where its making the most noise. if anyone would like to help me with this id appreciate it, give me a call if youd like to meet me at tire kingdom on ocala so we can look at it. 559-6840. also if anyone wants to get rid of some shorty headers a little cheap i would be interested

Where exactly is the smoke coming from?

around the header. kinda hard to pinpoint it.

ok i think i found what the problem is but i wont know until i get another spark plug and header gasket tomorrow. theres this plug, the last one closest to the fire wall on the driver side. its different from all the rest. it like theres a plug, and then like a cap type thing that screws into the head. ive never seen anything like it, dont know what it is.

That is a anti fouler, meaning there could be something wrong in that cyl. It used to be people would put that on there to stop oil from fouling the plugs. From bad rings or valve seals.

Do a compression test on the engine.

lol i didnt mean like right away. i dont even have money for that yet. i fixed it back today and ive been driving it all day. doesnt seem to be any worse and i havent seen it smoke yet. which is weird cuz it used to smoke sometimes when that antifowl plug was in it. all i did was put a new header gasket and a new plug in, tomorrow ill check the compression while im at work. im just glad i can drive it now.
