got some calls today that the parts i've been waiting for are finally coming in. i've been waiting on an oil pan and my wiring harness. both are on the way to pensacola. they should be there friday night. they better be anyways. ups and fedex suck at getting things to my house. ups generally runs at like 700pm. anyways, im finally getting closer to getting this thing done. here's what i have left to do:
put on new oil pan
notch crossmember for new oil pan
set engine in place at correct angle
weld in motor mounts
notch frame for ac compressor
buy alternator and ps pump
mount all engine accessories
tear out old wiring
install new harness
relocate coil onto firewall
cut stock manifolds and extend pipe
get ac lines made
weld mounts for fuel cell
mount fuel cell and fuel pump
bend and run new fuel lines
put brakes back on rear
mount air tank and compressor
run new air line and mount valves
have driveshaft shortened
adjust pinion angle
modify tranny crossmember
mount new radiator and electric fans
wire up electric fans
have exhaust built
put everything back together
i know theres more but thats all i feel like typing. as you can see i still have a lot to do before this truck gets finished. i'll have some new pics when i come back. i'm hoping to have it done in about a month. i won't bring it back for a little while after that. i want to get some miles on it before i bring it back here on the interstate. i'll let my sister drive around in it for a while. i have a few questions that i'll post in a few minutes. i have to get some hw done for right now.

Fed Ex sucks. They outsource, a lot of the people who deliver your packages don't actually work for FedEx, so they don't care what happens to your package. If I have a choice, I use UPS.

Now this is an interesting thread on a musclecar forum. Next we should be discussing what flour Greg uses when he's baking his favorite chocolate chip cookies.

I guess u mean fed-ex ground. Fed-ex regular is much much better then UPS. My dad's x-ray company ship's stuff all the time. He will no longer UPS anything. $15,000 x-ray tubes have been broken by UPS too much. Never had one break with Fed-ex

OK I give up. Tony's right, FedEx Overnight kicks UPS Overnight Service's ass. FedEx Green, (Ground), has just started getting going. You watch they'll eventually be kicking the good ole Brown Trucks in the ass.

if it were cromer i'd just pick it up on my way home. its from lees high tech trucks, who is notorious for having things done late. like this oil pan for example. he told me last week he'd have it shipped by this past monday.

1st it was the LT1 bellhousing when i dont even have and LT1. i mentioned it was for a 98 SS. 2nd time was the s-10 master cylinder he sent me when i told him it was for a FULLSIZE truck. then he the "Internet Orders" guy and he neither responds nor, reads(probably) the emails he gets.
i was kinda being sarcastic though, i may still order from him.

Nope.....
The only thing that has beat me (so far) wears a six figure price tag or has a 300 horse shot of spray. So no, I really don't think it is a slow car.

well, fedex finally tried to deliver the oil pan today. after i waited all freakin weekend for it. i did get some work done though. i got my rear brake drums put back together finally. i hope they work right. i'll find out when i drive it. i did a little work on the engine but now much at all. i worked on modifying the manifolds a little bit. would have been more productive with the oil pan there. fuck you fedex.
