Where would be a good place to get a ls1 block and maybe a trans? Do any of you know people or should i just look around? Thanks for the help.:twisted:

~3600-3800 for autos and 4000-4400 for a complete m6 motor.

mine was 3000 shipped without clutch.

These guys always have surplus GM motors/parts for cheap. You gotta call for their current inventory SMC (http://www.smcperformance.com/)

hmm ls1 lt1 or ford 302 for a project car? I dont have alot of money to work with so I guess it will be a 302 or lt1...If you were putting a v8 in a 2000lb car which would it be?

yup 1st gen rx-7 stripped to the bone and free :) I make ~150 a week (shitty after school job) so i need to keep the cost down if i can. Right now i have 700 to work with then 150 a week after that. Primary use for this car is auto cross/ other track use and to drive when the supra is down for repairs/upgrades... I was thinking about getting T's motor but i cant decide.
