valvespring question need help!

will the comp cams valvesprings part #26113 work with a cam with .580 lift?? it says .550 max on the website and I just called there tech support line and they said no that the max he was seeing was .558 - but people use comp valve springs with this cam and the tech support guy said that was the only spring they have for the mod motors...

so im confused...any help would be greatly appreciated.

personally i would look for a spring that can handle at least .600 lift. There is no point in riding on the edge of disaster.

good point i agree totally - its just that ive noticed alot of people use that combo and ive never heard anything bad happening so thats why i was askin

We run the 26113 in the 02, with the VT Stage 2 cams .560/.575 lift. They work fine with them, but I don't like the comps as they seem to loose pressure quickly. Get either the Manely's or Crower's instead.
