Snake Problem

Ok so I'm getting ready to turn in tonight, and as I'm taking off the shirt I look up on the top of the door frame, where there is chillin about a 7" snake

Well we poked it with a broom, and it fell off, and I missed with the baseball bat, so the fucker managed to crawl into my closet. Well I just duct taped the closet shut. A little extreme, yes maybe, but I dont want no snakes in my bed when I'm sleeping.

I dont know much about snakes, all I know is it wasnt you normal black garden snake. It looked of the more greyish brown color with a slight pattern to it. What kind of snakes do they have up here?

Furthermore, do they sell snake poison at walmart? do i just not open my closet for about a month and let the thing starve? do I open up the closet, and go to war with the snake, using a sawzall, a knife, and bat

Ok so do i have a "nest of snakes"--- or is it possible for the original snake to have creeped out of the duct taped door?

So some of you snake people out there (scooby i know you have one in your avatar), you might hate me for killing a snake, but understand that I like a large percentage of people out there, dont do snakes, especially in my bedroom

If you could identify the type of snake by the shitty webcam pics, please do, or if you would like to collect the dead snake from behind the dresser, you are also welcome to it

i saw a snake at my backdoor a few weeks ago, i thought it was about 2 ft or so, til today i found a 4 ft skin on my back porch. now i dunno if i wanna let my dog out there.

I don't like constrictors that are big enough to fit around a person's neck... they can and do kill pretty quickly. A side note: never let a snake get around your neck..ever.. that is where most pet snake owner deaths come from IIRC.

Unless that thing is like 6 inches long I would be freaked out by that too. My roommate has a snake as well, not too big, but big enough for me to go smashing the hell out of if I felt it go slithering across my foot.

that snake is fast as FUCK when its hungry..... i wouldnt be suprised if it could catch a cat, if not we could confine the snake and cat together the same way we did snake vs rooster..... at the rate the snake is growing, he might do snake vs goat pretty soon :beer: :beer: :beer:

That snake you killed is called a Garter Snake.... non-poisonous and completely harmless to anything besides fish, amphibians, and insects...

Next time you see a snake, give me a call before you kill it.

For future reference, look at the eyes; if they are round the snake is non-poisonous (unless it's a coral snake); if they are slitted, the snake is poisonous.

Even if it was a diamond back it's only 7 inches long.
A. at 7" it can't move very fast at all
B. at 7" it can only strike 3.5" inches away, don't be 3.5" inches away and you can't get bit
