I will be swapping out my u-joints next weekend and an looking for any tips and I was told to take my DS to a shop to get the u-joints pressed in. What shop around here will do it?

Napa usually does them, or carquest. Pretty much any place with a machine shop will do it for you.

Do them yourself. They are EASY. Save the money. But if you wont do that Auto Parts Warehouse does them. 574-1234.

I am going to take them out myself I just heard that it is better to get them pressed in properly. I will just take my DS to a shop to do that.
What is the best method to get them in myself?

a vise and various size sockets. You'll know they are in far enough when you can put on the retaining clips. Just a tip that i wish i would've known for my first u-joint swap. The GM joints have a plastic "pin" through the yoke and cap. Melt that pin with a torch before you press them out and it will make it 50x easier.

Frank works at Furrin Auto on Tennessee Street. And he says $20. Just PM him and let him know when you wanna do it.
