Today I fixed the problem with the crank hub with my BFH!!! God I love that thing. The underside of my car was filthy so I went ahead and dropped the oil pan completly(major pain!) but it will also give me the opportunity to fix my oil pump pick-up which had "fallen" off. So, now the car is taken completly apart except for the crank sprocket(should only take a minute) and the valve springs(that might take me a while). Tomorrow I start cleaning everything up and putting shit back together. If I get done in time, we definatly need to go out and party on Friday night because I need to forget about this shit!!! :qball: :mike:

Good Job Bo. I can probably help some tonight. Maybe I can take car of the valves while you work on the oil pan stuff.

Awesome, Yea, with the engine jacked up, there is 100 times more room down there so I think Im going to get the gasket started, oil pan on, and oil cooler lines back on with it "up" and tighten everything up after I lower it back down. If everything goes well(and it wont), I might even have it done before the game on Saturday:D

Remember timing cover back on before the oil pan. Install all of the timing cover seals with the exception of the water pump drive shaft seal before replacing the cover. The trick to the POS waterpump driveshaft seal is to fit the seal on the driveshaft coupler shaft, (that small hollow shaft between the waterpump gears on the block and the water pump driveshaft), and use it to install the seal with the help of a deep socket that's the same diameter. If you don't use this method I can just about guarantee that you'll tear the seal which will then leak oil.

I'm a master alright. Only took me three tries before I found the trick on CZ28 and got it right.
