I tested out Shakin's Mach I wheels on the Valiant, here are the before and after pictures. Also would like some suggestions on paint color, I've been thinking flat black because it's cheap, easy, and durable. I did a horrible quick photoshop of what it looks like all black. Let me know what you think.

I would say no on the flat black without seeing the photoshop. Save up some and paint it glossy, it will look much better and not be as hot.

The PS didn't work right. I'm thinking normal glossy black or dark blue.

That's a nice lookin car with the wheels... I saw no on the flat black also.... I love black, but I think if I went to paint it I would do a different color.... Like a Dark Blue or something.

The damn 40 year old slant six runs so good now and is ridiculously cheap to fix (like $11 for a waterpump) that I will keep it in there for now. I have to pick up a 360 from Kenny soon and start rebuilding it on the side. But just want to get it cleaned up, painted and cruise around. Figured if I'm going to have a play car it might as well be something different.

Thanks for the ride hight chop Osceola, that's definetly in the works too.

wheels look good, when you lower it, just give it a little bit of that old school rake...should look pretty nice.

Eh, I think keep it level, but close to the ground. One vote against the rake here.

Put a nice rake on it and a chrome chain link steering wheel in it then everyone will think you're Mexican instead of Cuban and you will instantly get more rights in this country.
