Checking to see if the IMRC crew is free tihs weekend to get mine cleaned. I have no idea how to do it, but since ya'll have done it a few times, I figure it shouldn't take more than a few hours. I'll provide the food!

PM'd him so we'll probably hear back late today. I'm going over to T's house to get my headers and H, and will be hitting the Ford dealership for the gaskets. I think they're about $50. Know where I can get a deal on them?

If the stockers aren't too bad, reuse em. I reused mine. If not, you could try Percy's from Summit, not sure if they have a DOHC though.

I didnt change it for her, I just set up her laptop so she can surf from my bed... that way she is never too far from it...
let me know when I can have your expert spring knowledge at hand to install them... I pretty much feel like shit this weekend was feeling like shit all last weekend, so I will need to catch up one things this weekend if I am feeling better, so I will get up with you later...
speaking of this weekend, are we footballing again?

Are you sure of the sizes you sent me? Theres a lot of confusin going on in the Corral about what sizes to order. I know .5 in for the one sode, but some ar saying .75, toher 5/8, and still, .5. Did you get yours in yet?

I got them but haven't installed them since you apparently really need about 12 hours for the RTV to set up when you plug the holes (I need to check which ones people are talking about). Also, apparently you have to plug off the pipe going to the driver's side header. I posted a question about this on the Corral, but still need to go back and check for responses.
I'll let you know what I find.

THe hole for the RTV is the one in the intake tube when you pull off the s-hose on the passengers side. I have never heard of a pipe goign to to header except for the EGR, and thats not what we want to delete. AFAIK, the PCV system is just the two breathers and deleting whee they go.

OK, then I guess we just stick in the breathers and plug where the hoses used to go to the intake, leaving the EGR stuff alone. Fine by me for that. I guess I was thinking too much about installing the longtubes and how I'll need to delete the EGR at some point. :lol:
I'll be putting on the breathers this weekend.
