A friend of mine recently aquired a female pit bull mix from a neighbor who thought he could take care of a dog, and couldnt. we do not know the original owners or her background, but we believe that she has been abused in the past. she is 11 months old roughly and weighs in at somewhere around 60 lbs. she has shown dominant behavior toward other dogs (specifically my room mates bull dog/lab mix) but has not gotten overly aggressive with him. be aware, she will need lots of attention and lots of patience. she is a slow dog and not the brightest crayon in the box. but she will lvoe you and jump in your lap to watch tv if you give her the chance.
