I've got an 01 firebird - heat cracked the forward dash. Didn't want to spend 150 to get the new piece - so figured I could get some vinyl material and glue it onto the plastic - was working fine till I put it in the car and the heat f-ed up the glue and the whole thing started coming up. So I stripped the entire thing - and I'm askin ya'll if you know what type of glue I should be using. (I used a spray adhesive - Loctite Heavy Duty) - any suggestions?

The only way to ever get it looking perfect is to buy a new one. Look around on the various f-body boards and Im sure you could find one for cheaper than $150.
