black 78 trans am

What's up..my name's Jeff. I bought my car in august of '04. The previous owner threw a rod so we bought it for cheap & my dad n I had the whole thing rebuilt. We bored it out 30 over which brought it from a 400 to about a 409. We had the transmission & carburetor rebuilt, and a few other things tweaked. Put a dynomax crossflow under it & took care of the cats. It doesn't sound too loud with the dynomax, it's more deep n throaty, which i think sounds better. the body's straight w. a few rust spots & one little dent, but it gives it character.

He sold it not too long before then...I saw it maaco once a couple years back.

Sucks about it throwing a rod in any case but I guess you got it for a good price...pontiac 400's like doing that when they get old but looks like you took advantage of the opportunity.
