Yep, I'm new.

I currently live in Pensacola, but will be moving back to the thriving metropolis of Marianna before too long. Looking for a good local board and this looks like one for sure.

I've always loved cars, so I keep a few around. Currently my daily driver is an 03 Ford Supercrew Lariet 4wd.

The most complete 'fun' car I have is my '96 Grandsport Corvette. It is currently awaiting the forged 383 with AFR 210's sitting on my engine stand and the D1SC Procharger in my spare bedroom (along with a host of other supporting goodies). As it sits now, its basically stock with a set of 4.10's, mufflers taken off, and thats about it. Here's a photo when its shiny.

My other project is a completely disassembled 70 Pontiac Lemans Sport. I have a 462 stroker rotating assembly, Butler ported Edelbrock heads, etc, but it is a LOOOOOONG way from being completed. This is what it used to look like before I started taking it apart.

Last real project is an '85 Kawasaki 750 Turbo. It needs a good bit of work, so no photos as of yet. Pretty cool old bike though.

welcome to this neck of the woods. i recognize the screen name and cars from the D2M board. the grand sport is one of my all time favorite cars. i thought the stroker/blower motor was already in it?? don't you have a lot of other really fast cars also??

Yeah, I'm on D2M as well. Not as many domestics or musclecar guys on D2m, so I figured I would try and find a forum more like me.

I was going strong on the 383 last year, but both of my parents passed away and that just made me not feel much like working on it. This year I've had some other things going on too, but I am getting pretty close to swapping the engines out. I have a spare bedroom full of pontiac and LT4 parts at the moment.

I'm also trying to finish some home projects so when my business gets going in Marianna I will be able to put the house up for sale pretty quick.

Thanks for all the compliments on the GS. I haven't been to Tallahassee in it in a long time, so I doubt it was me over there. Pretty likely it was me that was seen in Pensacola though. I've only seen one other one here in Pensacola and one clone. My insurance agent tells me there is another one around here, but I haven't seen that one.

I guess it depends on your definition of fast. It didn't feel very fast driving it after riding my old Hayabusa. Didn't feel slow compared to driving an 05 Vette. Feels slow compared to driving an 07 Z06. Its all relative.
