Fuck the tanker, just line the bed of a truck with a tarp and fill it up like a redneck swimming pool.

Gas in Destin and Orlando is fucking cheaper then in Tallahassee. Go figure that one.

Destin had 87 for 1.39 to 1.43. Best I've seen here is 1.49. Now explain to me, why its .10 gallon more in Tally verus a toruist place? Same goes for Orlando, it was about .10 cheaper there too.

tallahassee has more taxes... and a higher sales tax... makes everything more.

Its a college town, lots of out of town money from students. Its the same reason Comcast can charge 45 bucks a month for basic service here to the college kids and then charge 25 bucks a month other places. If people are willing to or have to pay it, they'll get as much as they can for it. The same reason the city can charge higher prices for utilities when they have a strangle hold on them. No FP&L, the city can charge whatever they want, they know we need it and have to pay for it.

Cheaper than that in Ft. Walton. I paid like $1.33 or somewhere close to that for 87 before i came back yesterday.

Next time you drive back through Quincy (that is, if you ever do that), pay attention to the prices going through town. They get progressively higher as you go from the west side of Quincy to the east side. There's usually a five cent difference from one side of town to the other. Weird.

Its not just the tax diff. We are just being screwed, plain and simple.

I'm sure that the State of Florida tax guys would be very interested in Bo's proposed business plan. As a matter of fact I'm fairly certain that Bo would be making lots of new friends if he started that particular business. :-o
