So I almost just died......
But instead my car fell off the jack stands, and crushed the jack, and is now sitting on a cinder block.........
So I'm kinda in a bind, and need some help.... If you could help me out I would make it worth your while

I have no alternate jack, but I did use my spare tire jack to get it on a cinder block and I suspect I might have fucked up the new rotor I just put on, because it fell on it.
If you could help me out, or point me in the right direction, I'll get you back
Thanks
Jim

the car was supported on the jackstand, the jack was 1/4 inch below it right next to the jackstand, jackstand was securely positioned on frame rail, and I was in the drivers seat, reaching over to the passenger seat, to get the passenger side rotor (which was on the floor of passenger seat)......... situation could have been avoided if I had just opened passenger door..... also the car was not in gear, and I have no ebrake..... the car might have hitched or rolled a litlte, I think the jackstand just slid down,, and dropped onto the jack, and then just crushed :hissy:

Yea, glad to hear you're OK. My roommate's dad's old friend lost some fingers this way. The jack failed and the car came right down on his hand. Ouch.
