The BLM is working on designating access to MOAB and have requested comments on their proposals. What they are proposing has been summarized on BlueRibbon Coalation's website HERE (http://www.sharetrails.org/alerts/).
Trail closures are very hard to reverse once the decision is made so even if you never invision going to Utah to wheel, everyone who supports offroad activities should write a letter in support of Alternative C with modifications as requested by Utah 4 Wheel Drive Association (U4WDA) and Red Rock 4 Wheelers (RR4W).
If you need help getting started, read the letter (http://www.florida4x4.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=13154&start=2) I wrote. Hopefully it will provide some inspiration. You have until the 11/30/07 so please take a few minutes to review the BRC link and write your letter to UT_Moab_Comments@blm.gov . The future of offroading is in all our hands. Your letter WILL make a difference!!
Thanks,
Andrew @ florida4x4.com
