I think it's great! I hate the BCS so much. I started the night off praying Mizz would win, assuming WV would slaughter Pitt, but once WV lost i didn't care. Watch there be co-champs again. The BCS is stupid. My guess is going to be Ohio State vs LSU in the big game.
Neither Georgia nor Kansan even won their conference so i doubt they will go. It took 6 overtimes for LSU to lose 2 games, so they will jump everybody...i think, but who the hell knows.

Except that it has happened twice since the BCS was formed. I believe it was Nebraska first 2001 when they failed to win the big 12 conference, and then again with the infamous dual championship in 2003 when Oklahoma lost the Big 12 to Kansas State and still went to the NC over USC. You never know what these dumb fucks are going to do. I too am getting very tired with the BCS love affair Big 10 conference. I hope LSU pounds the ever loving shit out of Ohio State again so it can be two NC ass kickings in a row!

I just can't believe that VT did not jump Georgia. You play a ranked team and beat them yet you don't jump an idle team. :scratch: But some of the early computer rankings put VT up ahead so if VT was 3rd in the human polls they would probably get in. So to keep VT out they keep them back in the human polls. With that said I don't think it should be VT over LSU but I'm just getting pissed that they are talking about Georgia, USC, Oklahoma and not even mentioning VT.

Oh well I can't wait till I'm able to say remember when College Football used the BCS.

In the 51 days since Ohio will have last played a game and the NC game... you could EASILY have playoffs take place. Everybody that made the playoffs/was in the top 24 or 36 would have a shot.

To paraphrase Almighty Richt: There is no such rule that you have to win your conference. There SHOULD be, but isnt. All voters knew last sunday that UGA would not play for the SEC yet still voted us 4th.

Now I totaly agree that LSU is more derserving to be there. I however am vomiting at the fact that tOSU jumped 2 slots without playing yet we slide to 5th. Granted ranks this week are just symbolic after 1-2 but still.....Bullshit Campion Series

Even if they move to a 4 team play off, they'll still leave something on the table. Hawaii for example. I'm not saying they'd win the title, but they're the only undefeated team in the POS BCS, and they're not in the top 4. So, they'd still be fucked. How is it in basketball, pro football, pro basketball, baseball, pro baseball, almost EVERY OTHER COMPETITIVE SPORT... we have playoffs or a tourney of some type? Oh that's right, because it works!.
