Would anyone like to help install my cam in the SS? It'll be after X-Mas when I have the last couple odds and ends to do it. I just need someplace to do it at, and some time on Tony's dyno so I can get Dustin to tune it for me.
Oh, and I'll supply a keg or two of Coors Light. :drunk:

Lets break into your old house and do it in the garage. We can do some Cobra brakes while we're at it.

Killer if you're up for a short drive I got a 5 lift shop with airtools and everything I'm sure you could use.

a lift isn't that important when doing a cam but the air compressor and tools wouldn't hurt.

1) soak bearings in oil. This step is important
2) poke hole in piston
3) PROFIT!
4) Wait until you're old and dying for TSP to deliver replacement engine, if ever.
Oh... wait.... :joystick:
If I'm in town I can offer some help, but no place to do it :rice:

i havent called them to see about getting it straightened out, but i have a feeling they'll just find some sort of out with the whole situation and say it wasnt in writing or something.
btw, ryan pointed out to me the other day they have new Long/shortblocks ready to ship for their holiday specials....were you made aware of that the last 6 or 7 weeks?
Killer, i know i've asked you several times...did you end up sticking with the Patrick G cam?
KillerSS

Yeah, I anticipate clutch issues so I'm going to get an LS7 clutch package from sdparts.com.

And yeah, I'm sticking with the Pat G cam. I decided I want power under the curve and I don't wanna beat the hell out of my valvetrain...plus I wanna get some baller heads in the future.

i really don't see how something that expensive could have been ordered with out you reviewing a build sheet.

Hum, I'm kinda considering Patty's idea...because we could put the cam in my car, then go to the strip club afterwards. Only issue is the drive, of course.
Or, could go to Destin, put it in, and go to even better strip clubs. Settlement money FTW!

wo0t! strip clubs FTW!
Yeah, I know they supposedly have ready to ship engines, but from what I understand, they ALL have 24x reluctors. I need 58x. That was the initial major hold up according to Jason. The second is now the cam. Strange... those are drop shipped and even he said it wouldn't take more than 2 days.
2 weeks at most, I remember hearing.
