Putting down more power too... That cam was great for overall driving, the torque is everywhere.

I think I wet myself when I heard the first dyno pull. Thanks guys especially Bond, Riceman and Tony!
As fun as it is to spin all gears i'm gonna need some tires. :D

Ok, now I need an idle vid. I can't remember how Ryan's idled back in the day. Or better yet i just need to see it in person haha. Stock exhaust?

Hmm... I'll have to keep looking then.

Riceman

In this case, I think he means nasty in a positive way. I liked it anyway. The best compliment I got on it was "that thing sounds evil, man"

I couldn't have been more proud

Well I want something pretty tame. I've been watching videos and if it sounds anything like a C-cam then I'm fine with it. Nasty to me makes me think ↓

While that sounds freaking amazing, I don't want that much chop. But seeing as Tony has that little girly cam in his car, "nasty" must be relative haha.

get your cam and prepare for the beatdown chase.

if my commission at work keeps at a good rate, i'll be doing some modding this year:)

Riceman

It should be similar to the HPE C-cam. It's VERY close in specs to the Torquer 2 by a vendor who shall remain nameless because they're garbage.

I love it... has a nice chop and isn't too loud if you dont want it to be. The car shakes just a bit at idle. I'll post a vid later tonight. And yes its the stock catback.

I have an C-2 I'm waiting to install. I am trying to save for supporting mods and do it all at once. Good numbers!! I'm shooting for just at 400 at the rear wheels.

That's exactly what I'm looking for!! I'm back on board haha.

Mind if I copy it? Do either you or Ryan have the cam card?

NO! It's a 100% original setup and you can't copy it. :D

Here's the spec:

Serial # J 0392-06 Spec Card# 07575405
Part # 54-000-11 LS1 CHEVY LS1/GEN III '97-UP ROLLER
Core C54-11HH LS1 1997 UP 5.7 CORVETTE 5150 SEMI
Grind # LS1 3725R /3728R HR112 +4

Pm me your email and i'll forward the full specs. You going to the meet tonight? It's a little more beastly in person obviously so you might want to hear it. I may or may not go tonight, if not maybe tues.

Oh and Greg is right, this cam is all wrong for your setup.

Bring it out! I want to hear that monster.

I was gonna get one spec'd for me, but that's exactly the size, sound, and power I wanted. I am back home (Ft Walton). The clutch isn't fully disengaging, so I brought it back to the shop that did it, so I won't be at the meet. Maybe we can get up sometime next week so I can check it out.
