View Full Version : Found some new rims for the Snake

I found some sweet rims today. www.wheelreplicas.com They have black powdercoated Saleen 18x9 front 18x10 rear rims. Only $789 for the set! As soon as I save up the cash these are definately gong on. I love the look of black rims on a black car, and I can't hardly find them anywhere, so I was stoked when I stumbled across these.

i wouldn't go 18's man, i had them and got rid of them very fast. Lots of wheel hop and NO traction

See, 18's make you slower. If you wanna get them, its up to you and they would look badass but its is proven that you will lose time in a 1/4 mile with 18in rims.

I do too, but I haven't seen them on an SN95 to judge yet.
Go on the Corral and do a search. I've seen a few of them in the 94/95 forum, and they do look good.

How havent you seen them on a sn95? Havent you seen the original FR500 car? SN95=94-2004.

umm...no...SN95 is the platform the mustang is built on...do you want me to get proof to back myself up?

I know where you are coming from in regards to the platform designation, but most SVT people agree with calling the 94-98 style the sn95 and the 99+ style the new edge style. The forums are even set-up that way on svtperformance.com

yeah but sn95 is not referring to a body style...its the platform code that ford calls the platforms. Ive read many threads about this on mustangworld and corral.net, all of which state what I have said
