View Full Version : Some info that is a good read for running at a track...
I stole this from Bill Putnam's post over on modulardepot (http://forums.modulardepot.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1381) . Which he scan'd outta the Summit book.
Whats really interesting is how it shows, that the your MPH in the 1/4 is not your true MPH. It is an average of the last 66' of the track.

ya, I knew it was an avg. I thought it was the last 60', not 66'. I was told long ago, they did this to lower the MPH posted, cause Top Fuel was going so fast. That the insurance companys were bitching.
