Need some opinions from actual users or sellers of these tires for my Mach. Thinking of buying 315/35/17 for the rear and 245/45/17 for the front. Prices are definately a plus for these. What about the negs? Thx!

lets put it this way, the price is the only plus.
anything and everything else you can think about a tire is a monsterous negative

I think Ryan was pretty clear, the tires suck, so unless you are just a cheap bastard, get real tires for your car or you will taking it to a body shop for sliding in to something.
They do not perform even close to any other tire in that size. I would recommend BFG, but I heard they are not going to be making them anymore :( so go see ryan for options.

lets see
they are loud
they have extremely rounded shoulders which make them 1) look narrower, like really narrow, 2) have no resistance to cornering slip
they have ZERO straight line traction
they do alright is the rain, i wouldnt call it good but it could be worse
they are the cheapest rubber round things available in that size and imo that sums it up

uh yeah.......
I had the Sumi 315/35's on my Bullit 10.5"s
I got them as an emergency cheap set at the time because I needed to drive my car. I wouldnt buy these again.... and unless they were given to me, they are not going on my car.

they're cheap but they work. when i got my 11's in the rear they were mounted on them. i actually ran my best time stockish on those at cecil. but after 1 drunken burnout, they were toast. but i was really drunk, and it was a really cool burnout.

Yeah Skunk has the pedal to the floor all the damn time so it's no wonder he has to replace them so frequently.
Back on topic, ryan pretty much said it. The reason i got my 315 sumis was because i read a lot of reviews on tire rack about how they wear really good and give you plenty of miles before it's time to replace them. They do give you shitty traction and are narrow, but for the price, eh.

I agree with Ryan's assessment. On the positive side, they did add a neat little annoying hum to my car couple of months ago. They still look great, but strangely they grip like a pair of 100,000 mile Kumhos.
Word to the wise: don't.

Thanks for all the opinions. Tony I only looked them up online I haven't actually called for anywhere yet. Am now considering the MT drag radials or street Nitto's Extreme 555's. Haven't made up the wife's mind yet LOL!

i have been happy with my bfgs on my stang and i love nittos for grip. I have never had a 315 tire but the above two i think are really good and well worth it.
