we are new here myself and a friend are too lazy to do two of these so we did one

2001 ford lightning
2000 camaro z28

we are slow and i would like to be around fast cars
we love this kind of stuff, and tonight we are gonna try to show up at "the lot" any help and insight into our cars would be welcomed

LS1 Z28 and Lightning != SLOW!!!

(!= means DOES NOT EQUAL!!!)

= ) MY truck is slow. I would be THRILLED if i could get a 14.

These 2 guys are at my highschool, the red lightning is sick as hell! As of now it will smoke the Z28. Both cars are bad ass, I know the owner of the z28, his name is Joey and the other kid just got the lightning back after flipping it on its side. The lightning is bright red w/ silver painted stripe / hood scope. It whines like a little kid. When are you guys meeting next? I want to try and meet everyone.

yo yall. i would hang out...but im in VA! got a buddy with an 01 lightning..its gone 12.6. its pretty fast. im just too slow for him, thats why im letting my girlfriend race him. ;) btw im not a local im from the tally area, but stationed in VA in the navy.

Hello, I'm new here too. I've seen this Lightning and agree that is VERY nice. It sat outside the bodyshop on Monroe St. for quite a while and I've seen it here and there... very sweet ride.

On a side note. Tony (if you read this), this is Chad from back in the day at NFC. Immagine my surprise to find this site and see you as an admin! We'll have to get together and catch up sometime. Maybe some Thurs night when you all go out to Schlotzkie's I'll try to make it out to see you and meet some of the guys.

Is it REALLY alive, or is it alive as in the first 20 seconds of "the video". In other words, can you hear the sounds of valves slappin and p-rods bendin' = ).

EDIT: Speakin of bent p-rods, since (according to my signature :) ) you have 43 bent pushrods just takin up space... can I have one or two? I don't really know why I want em, but I think they would compliment the differential and pinion gear in my appartment. I know there is another way to get some, but I don't really want you workin on my truck Bo... J/K!! But seriously, if you don't mind it'd be cool if I could have 1 or 2.

And it is alive for lack of a better term. It still needs the fans put back in, water in the radiator, valve covers, alternator, belt, air intake, y-pipe bolted up, and a couple of heat cycles. There is still plenty of work for me to do but its all easy stuff, the hard shit is behind me...hopefully.
