Seether, Breaking Benjamin, and 3 Days Grace ROCK!!! This was my 3rd time seeing Seether, they never get old. Breaking Benjamin and 3 days grace are awesome live too. 3DG did an acoustic Alice in Chains song (Rooster) and it was incredible.
All i have is cell phone pics and they suck. I did catch a guitar pick from a band named "Hurt". I couldn't catch any of the thousands the other bands through into the crowd.
I'm tired as shit and about to go to bed. The concert was in Orange Beach Alabama last night. Drove back early this morning so i could work. It's not a bad trip, definitely worth the 3.5 hour drive. Can't wait to see them again.

so it was what (10-20%) of the greatness of the original? i do love really good covers. i can only name one singer who sounds exactly the same live versus recorded besides layne.
i am one of the biggest grunge guys out there. if this cover was even 10% of the pure awesomenessss  that the original layne and jerry made, then i am in pure envy of you witnessing this.

it was pretty damn good. I'm sure it wasn't as good as the real thing, alice in chains was awesome. These 3 bands sound amazing live.
Seether (Shaun Morgan) sounds a lot like Kurt Cobain. He does some Nirvana covers that are apparently unreal. Shaun sounds better in person than on the radio. I have seether in the cd player at all times and just listen over and over again to all their albums.

I saw some of hurt's show opening for AIC in atlanta.. not that impressed. I wasn't really impressed by the 'new' AIC either with William Duval. I liked the Jerry Cantrell solo shows i've seen much better. Who is the other singer you're talking about?

i found some vidz on youtube. Pretty damn good. I found some 3DG/alice in chains covers too. The vidz are all live and bad sound, but you can tell they did a good job.

layne was always pitch perfect. i do enjoy live shows because they show the singers feelings/emotions at a particular point of the song.
jerry is a little off live, but i believe he is better live because i can feel what he actually means.
enough of aic and onto ur question. myles kennedy is probably the best singer i have ever listened to. (male of course) who in the world could anyone compare any singer to whitney houston?
myles pitch is quite unreal.......and more so once you learn he has tinnitus!!!
