If the new V6's sound anything like the older ones, I would say get rid of your 'dual' exhaust and go back to stock. V6 Mustangs sound like ragged ass with any kind of exhaust.

all depends on the set up buddy of mine got duals put on into turn downs and it doesnt sound bad until he guns it then it gets raspy like a can. Then again i got a friend who has a v6 and it could pass off as a stock gt long as he stays out of 5k plus then itll get the ol v6 sound.

The new 4.0 doesn't sound bad. Like a deep 350Z. I've heard one leaving campus one time. The guy got on it... didn't go anywhere, but it sounded ok. Duals with an x-pipe would sound ok, I'd guess.
But I say save your money for a blower. That's the only thing that'll help.

The o/r H pipe I had on my GT sounded like shit with my magnaflows. Save your money, the h/y pipes aren't worth the money unless you're doing a full headers back exhaust in my opinion. Save your money for the tune and leave it at that.

i see your point, BUT... why put money into a v6? Save the money and sell the v6 stang to a girl then buy something that could be fast.

True, but not everyone thinks that way and are happy with what they can afford or choose to own. Maybe his parents bought it for him (Ahem...Chase) or he spent his money on the most he could get for a new mustang. He's just trying to get it to look/perform nice...oh wtf am I saying, STOP SPENDING MONEY ON YOUR v6 NEWB :):rice:
Before I wanted a GTO I was gonna put a blower on my ranger. Would of been fun but a huge waste of money.

save your money, enjoy driving it for a year or so and get a GT. Trust me as someone that spent way to much on a v6.

all i got to say is do what you want. We all have opinions on what to do and spend money on. If you cant afford a v8 and want to keep somewhat good gas mileage theres plenty you can do with a v6. If you do on the other hand want everything a v8 has to offer sell your car and buy another mustang theres plenty out there. but its all on what you want to do
